ManTech is seeking a Security Information and Event Management Analyst to support our Marine Corps Intelligence Activity contract on MCB Quantico.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Manage all aspects of all classes of GFE servers and supporting equipment, including all hardware and software systems and tools used to monitor, maintain, optimize, and report on environment health and statusSupport all servers and other hardware running mission applications and services, all physical and logical (virtualized) servers and appliances, and all supporting equipment tools and system software (e.g., operating systems, virtualization software, authentication software, utilities, schedulers)Installs, configures, troubleshoots, and maintains server and systems configurations (hardware and software) to ensure their confidentiality, integrity, and availabilityAdministers server-based systems, security devices, distributed applications, network storage, messaging, and performs systems monitoringConsults on network, application, and customer service issues to support computer systems’ security and sustainability for the following solutions and capabilities: Virtual Desktop Infrastructure for unclassified and multiple classified networks, Active Directory, End Point Security Solutions (EPSS), Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), Servers, virtual machines, and virtual servers, Cloud servers and containersManage server resources including performance, capacity, availability, serviceability, and recoverabilityMonitor and maintain server configurationDiagnose faulty server hardwarePerform repairs on faulty server hardwareInstall, update, and troubleshoot serversOther duties as required

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years’ experience.  8 years’ experience without a degree.This position requires an active DoD TS/SCI Clearance with the ability to obtain/maintain a SAP Clearance and may require a CI PolyCurrent DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (Security+ CE or equivalent)Must be proficient in current DoD policies and strategy related to IT systemsMust have required experience in Security Information & Event Management (SIEM) solutions and Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) or Tenable Nessus in secure environmentsMust be familiar with how to read and translate scan resultsMust be able to update and patch the respective software with the latest pluginsMust be able to create and updating custom reportsSupport and assist in the development of system security packages based on current doctrineParticipate in self and independent verification and validation (IV&V) assessmentsConduct security impact analysisDevelop custom tools and attack scripts for vulnerability exploitationProvide input into the security design and architecture of all IT systems by implementing system security mechanisms and providing cybersecurity guidanceConduct an evaluation of the system architectures and identify whether security engineering and principles are embedded throughout the systemSupport the installation of new or modified hardware, operating systems, and software applications ensuring integration with cybersecurity requirements for the systemsApply group policies changes, Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIGs) and any other security protection mechanisms

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred Certifications: CEH, CFR, CCNA Cyber Ops, CCNA-Security, CHFI, CySA+, GCFA, GCIH, SCYBER, PenTest+Familiar with installation, configuration, and upgrade of McAfee ePO On premises deploymentCompleted the DISA HBSS trainingCompleted the DISA ACAS trainingSPLUNK/Audit log history analysisFamiliarity with Websense content filterFamiliar with Incident Response tools such as FTK Access Data, Snort, and WiresharkFamiliar with the Risk Management Framework (RFM) processFamiliar with Security Technical Implementation Guidance (STIGs), manual checks, POAM reporting, and mitigation statementsKnowledge of information security systems and applications for DoD projects and emerging DoD IA policies

Clearance Requirements:

This role requires an active DoD TS/SCI clearance

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
