Security Intelligence Specialist

This position is responsible for analyst duties in the company's Global Security Operations Center (GSOC). This includes monitoring security and life safety systems; collecting, analyzing and preparing intelligence briefings; proactively identifying threats and risks which could impact operations; responding to incidents using various security systems and work flows; providing oversight to security operators during emergency situations; and developing the skills of other intelligence specialists.

Job Duties

Operate all GSOC hardware and software including a physical security information management system (PSIM), access control, video monitoring software, and alarms.

Quickly assess conditions and situations based on available information, make appropriate notifications, follow incident response workflows, activate and coordinate emergency response procedures, and monitor events through resolution.

Assist in preparing intelligence briefings.

Develop methods for tracking long term threats and risks.

Assist with GSOC Operator functions during high-volume incidents.

Monitor domestic and international corporate travel, and account for travelers during crisis events.

Assist the Department with threat management and investigations.

Closely monitor Company events with a focus on factors which may impact executive and employee safety.

Refine analytic tools to align with department and business interests, gather and define security metrics, remain up to date on current events, and provide input on country risk analysis. Assist in developing the skills and capabilities of GSOC Intelligence Specialists.

Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.

The GSOC will be a 24/7 “one call” resource for all employees in addition to monitoring the safety and security programs throughout ACE. This position will deal with all manners of reports, threats, and investigations. This position will require providing input on high-level decisions impacting the enterprise at all levels, and will regularly need to make decisions independently without input from management.


Qualifications

Bachelors Equivalent combination of education and experience

1-3 years Global Security Operations Center analysis Required

Comfortable working under pressure and tight deadlines.

Being a creative, strategic thinker dedicated to quality service.

Familiarity with Global Security Operation Center policies and procedures.

Ability to analyze and quickly react to emergency situations while maintaining composure and professionalism.

Demonstrate proofreading and editing skills with a highly detail-oriented focus.

Ability to develop detailed, step by step, workflows.

Set priorities, take initiative and exercise sound independent judgment.

Capable of working independently without extensive direction or oversight.

Creative, strategic thinker dedicated to quality service.

Ability to collect and analyze information.

Strong multi-tasking skills.


Scope

Work is accomplished with moderate supervision. Follows established and detailed directions. Work is reviewed for accuracy and overall adequacy.

Provides resolution to an assortment of problems that are typically well defined, but some clarification or judgment is required to determine action, as additional information about the problem/task is discovered. Uses judgment within defined practices/procedures to determine appropriate action. Problem/Task resolution timeframe: Inclusive of shorter timeframes, but the majority of tasks take up to several weeks to resolve.

Under general supervision, proceeds alone for regular duties, referring questionable cases to supervisor.

Individual Contributor

Failure to achieve results or erroneous judgments may require the allocation of additional resources to correct and/or achieve goals.

Contacts are primarily within the department or function with occasional cross-functional interfaces. Some limited external customer contact on routine matters.

The starting pay range for this position is:

$66,560.00 - $88,200.00
