GILBANE is seeking to hire a Security Manager to support our upcoming project in Wiesbaden, Germany.

This role reports to the Director of Site Security and will primarily sit in an office.

Responsibilities Serve as the liaison with police department to insure an effective police presence at project sites or at company events, when neededWork with the Director of Site Security to develop a security strategy for labor disruptionsWork with the Director of Site Security to develop security standards for project sitesConduct initial reviews on new construction development sites and recommend security planning strategiesCoordinate security strategies with project sites in the cityFile complaint reports with police department, as required, regarding any crimes or attempted crimes at targeted sitesInvestigate and gather evidence on labor disruptions and associated activityMaintain case files all investigations specifically those related to criminal complaints and associated NLRB violationsContinually review targeted sites or sites identified as High Risk to review and upgrade security protectionInsure contracted security vendor’s guards are familiar with and have been trained regarding the Gilbane’s security strategy for labor disruptions in order to guarantee a coordinated response;Conduct random off-hour visits to targeted sites, and sites identified as High Risk, to review security preparednessProvide threat assessments for and coordination of personal protection of Gilbane executivesCoordinate selection of security equipment for project sitesCoordinate security support with contractorsConduct onsite construction security, physical security, and blast assessment surveys of Government facilities or potential sites worldwideWrite reports detailing the potential vulnerabilities and mitigation strategies based on these surveysInvestigate and inspect circumstances to resolve events that impact securityOversee security-related activities, including, construction security planning and monitoring; participating in security oversight inspections; liaising with representatives of other Government agencies; contingency planningManage the Construction Security Plan under ICS/ICD 705-1 guidelinesPrepare DD254 forms for subcontractors and coordinated visitor requests through DISSPrepare and package eqip clearance upgrades for employeesConduct security briefings for new employeesCoordinate with the Client for material handling, delivery, and inspectionsManage personnel and equipment site access Qualifications

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

Previous experience in A/E/C industry preferredPrevious experience in law enforcement preferredOr equivalent combination of education and experiencePrior US Government/military project experience is preferredMust have a fully adjudicated Secret security clearance

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Project Management experience is essentialSeeking a highly motivated and experienced person who is able to operate autonomously
