- Responsible for supervising and managing staff in the Security department. Develops, implements, and manages operational goals and monitors achievements of performance and profit objectives. - Creates effective and efficient schedules while maintaining labor costs, meeting staffing objectives, and achieving guest satisfaction. - Assists in the budget process for the department and provides recommendations; ensures compliance to departmental budget initiatives; reports budget concerns to manager. - Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with departmental and company standards and programs. Ensures customer service standards are followed by all team members and addresses issues as they arise. Responsible for the overall achievement of departmental customer service goals. - Ensures response to medical emergencies and completes illness/injury reports when necessary. - Promptly reports and remedies any legal/compliance measures. - Develops, enforces, reviews, and approves changes or revisions to operating practices, procedures, and standards based on business practices and internal controls. - identifies and resolves Security-related problems. - Develops and implements alternative methods for Security operation improvement. - Examines and analyzes the physical property, processes, and procedures and develops, institutes, oversees, and enforces emergency policies. - Serves as liaison with gaming regulators, public law enforcement, fire officials, and other agencies as it relates to Security by maintaining a positive and constructive relationship. - Conducts, supervises, and prepares reports relating to investigations of any losses or violations of law, regulations, policies, or procedures. - Provides escorts as needed. - Testifies in court when necessary. - Protects and preserves the assets of the company. - Responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance within area of authority and reporting potential issues to Executive Management/GM. - Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.

- Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent; or five (5) years of Casino Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Two (2) years of leadership experience highly preferred. - Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). - Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be fluent and literate in English. - Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism. - Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. - Must have excellent interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills. - Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Driver’s License and operate company vehicles as needed. - Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with issues. - Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. - Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff, and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner. - Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization. - Must have the ability to remain calm in emergency or stressful situations.
