Position objective

The BRP Security Manager will ensure a secure environment for all personnel, properties and assets by an adequate and efficient management of preventative and corrective security procedures and systems, following all applicable laws and regulations, corporate guidelines and CTPAT and OEA regulations. The Security Manager will supervise all Security resources in their assigned work area/Plant.

Roles & responsibilities

    Develop/Implement Security strategies and actions plans
    Promote and Ensure security of people, assets and business reputation against security risk
    Manage Supply Chain Security across Mexico including Inbound and Outbound transportation security
    Ensure OEA/CTPAT security compliance 
    Manage Security Networking 
    Conduct and Overview security investigations 
    Manage Security Budgets 
    Manage BRP Emergency Response Program 
    Cover for Mexico Security Manager if needed
    Other security task and responsibilities as needed
    Follow BRP values and behaviors
    Ensure a safe working environment and take full accountability for all safety related topics.
    Enforce Quality BRP policy
    Ensure a good work environment by following up the Officevibe tool.

 

Position profile and Professional Experience:

Bachelor Degree or Equivalent experience in security field (5 years or more)

Technical skills (Minimum desire)

1. CTPAT/OEA knowledge
2. Risk Assessment experience   
3. Emergency Response Program experience 

4. Good English skills/    Intermediate    or    higher Spanish
5. Budget management
6. Computer Skills (Microsoft Office)
