The role you’ll contribute:

Manages a group of security guards who ensure the protection of the organization's facilities, patients, visitors, and staff.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

Manages the daily operations of the security department. Develops and enforces security procedures and regulations.

Acts as a liaison to all departments on security measures, procedures, and needs. Monitors and follows up on complaints and investigations.

Assigns responsibilities and tasks to support department function.

Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts and policies/procedures. May be required to oversight PBX/ communications. May be required to have oversight of emergency management plans.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Associate's degree OR Technical degree in a related field OR Combination of High School diploma AND Two years of related experience.

5 experience Required

2 Leadership Experience Required

2 related experience Required

Basic Life Support - CPR Cert

International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety certification

Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association; must be acquired within 90 days of hire.

IAHSS - Certified Healthcare Security Supervisor (CHSS) must be acquired within one year of hire.
