Allied Universal Technology Services is hiring for a Security Intervention Specialist at our Monitoring and Response Center (MaRC). The primary function of the specialist is to monitor surveillance of all security and CCTV monitors on the facility and surrounding grounds, respond to event-driven alarms in a timely and effective manner, and document any activity and contact support systems in the event of an emergency. The Security Intervention Specialist must be capable of managing high-stress environments and effectively communicating, particularly during critical, life-or-death emergency situations.
This position may require working on holidays if they fall on your regularly scheduled workdays. Flexibility and commitment to the team during peak times are essential. This is a 24/7 call center environment that requires individuals to sit for long periods of time. This is a full-time role that is required to be in office 100% of the time.
Schedule:
Overnight (7:00pm - 3:00am), 5 days on with 2 days off in a rowPay: $18.00 per hour
Mandatory Paid Training Schedule:
Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm for the first two weeksESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Those duties necessary to meet the minimum requirements of the position.
Monitor a variety of live video footage and location dashboards for signs of suspicious or ongoing criminal activity, such as burglary, loitering, trespassing, and high-stress situations; follow client-specific protocols as needed.Analyze, assess, and respond to system-generated alerts and event notifications promptlyInitiate outbound calls or emails to notify customers, law enforcement, first responders, and management of critical events requiring their attention or response; prioritize and route emergency calls to appropriate first respondersAnswer inbound calls regarding customer inquiries and respond as necessaryQUALIFICATIONS:
A High school diploma or equivalent.Minimum of one year in a dispatching, security, customer service, or call center roleMust be able to work overtime as neededMust be capable of managing high-stress environments and effectively communicating, particularly during critical, life-or-death emergency situations.Stay highly alert and use critical thinking to monitor customer sites and respond to any emerging situations.Proficient in the basics of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft TeamsPreferred Qualifications:
Previous experience troubleshooting CCTV security systems or controlling camerasMinimum of two years experience in law enforcement, security or the militaryBENEFITS:
