We are looking for candidates who want to shape and drive innovation at Bosch. **Job Description** This job is responsible for performing routine patrol and clerical tasks that require some security knowledge at a 24x7x365 manufacturing facility. This position will be responsible for the protection of Bosch employees, contractors and company property. This individual will possess the physical fitness needed to stand, patrol and perform necessary security duties for extended periods. This individual will also liaise with local law enforcement and emergency teams when required. **Qualifications** **Responsibilities** + Patrol premises regularly, monitoring for unauthorized access, safety hazards, and suspicious behavior. + Monitor security cameras and alarms, maintaining attention to unusual activity and entry and exit points to prevent unauthorized access, theft, or vandalism. + Inspect and maintain the functionality of all security and safety systems within the facility. + Manage and enforce access control protocols, including verifying employee and visitor identification. + Respond quickly and effectively to security and safety incidents, including medical emergencies, fires, and other potential hazards. + Assist in the evacuation of personnel during emergencies, following all established emergency protocols. + Maintain detailed and accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, or unusual occurrences. + Investigate incidents and prepare reports to document security breaches, accidents, alarms that result in E.R.T. activations or other significant events. + Coordinate with the security team, supervisors, and department heads to develop and enforce security policies. + Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and applicable safety and security regulations. Participate in regular safety drills and training sessions. + Provide back-up coverage for the main lobby, including operating switchboard and greeting visitors. + Create identification badges for employees, vendors, and contractors. **Q** **ualifications** + High school diploma or equivalent. + Valid Class C California Drivers’s license. + Ability to obtain a valid California BSIS Guard Card. **Preferred Qualifications** + Experienced officer with strong skills in C-CURE and Gallagher access control systems. Additional security certifications (e.g., CPR, First Aid, OSHA). + Experience in security ideally within a manufacturing or industrial setting. + Strong observational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
