Responsibilities
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Certifications:
Completion of an OPOTC (Ohio Peace Officer Training Commission) approved Private Security Academy is preferred. Must possess a valid Ohio driver's license (VDL) and maintain eligibility of insurability to operate the organizations' vehicles.
Complexity of Work:
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.Work Experience:
Minimum of one-year prior related experience in the field of criminal justice; private, public, or military security, and/or related law enforcement fields. Completion of Ohio Peace Officer Training (police) Academy and certification may be substituted for the above experience.
Physical Requirements:
Typical physical demands require full body motion, physical strength and stamina sufficient to chase, apprehend and subdue criminal suspects, and respond to crisis interventions and medical emergencies.Requires extensive walking and standing for prolonged periods of time.Must have good eye/hand coordination and able to pass annual eye (with appropriate corrections) and hearing tests.

Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
