Job Summary

As a Security Officer, you will provide a safe environment for all guests, employees, company property, and assets. You will be responsible for securing the premises, patrolling and property, guarding entry points, and verifying guests.

Duties And Responsibilities Foster an environment that embodies Bally’s Born to Entertain philosophy by creating a fun-filled, entertaining atmosphere Enthusiastically promote Bally’s customer-centric culture of offering superior guest service and actively building long-lasting guest relations Oversee the physical security of the casino and company assets Responsible for the physical safety of guests, employees, and company assets Initiate and prepare Security Incident Reports Escort chips, cash, and table game drops per company procedures and regulatory requirements Report any criminal or suspicious activity without hesitation Ensure the department adheres to all regulatory, departmental, and Company policies and procedures Communicate any violations of Company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirements Perform duties and responsibilities associated with the IGB Statewide Voluntary Self-Exclusion Program Safeguard the overall integrity of gaming Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Must be 21 years of age or older Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board High school or equivalent required College or military education preferred Prior security, safety, or loss prevention experience preferred Must have excellent customer service skills Strong organizational and planning skills are required Must have open work availability to work nights. weekends, and holidays Physical Demands Frequently required to walk, run, kneel, stretch, push, twist, bend, and lift. Requires visual acuity to perform close-up activities and peripheral oversight Requires manual dexterity to conduct repairs on slot machines Work Environment

The work environment contains bright lights, loud noise, and stressful situations.
