Position Summary:

This position is responsible for the protection of patrons and employees, patrolling for illegal and unusual situations, and safeguarding the company’s assets.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: includes but not limited to:

Protects patrons and employees, patrols for illegal and unusual situations, and safeguards the company’s assetsEscorts money and chip credits from booths to Master Bank and Chip fillsPerforms table and Bill Validator dropsInvestigates and records all unusual occurrences and incidents within the gaming facilityDetains persons involved in illegal activities and notifies law enforcement authoritiesResponds to complaints, ejections, medical and assistance calls and accurately acquire all pertinent information needed for reporting purposesChecks IDs for underage patrons

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:

Performs cards and dice pick-up and distribution for the casinoAccurately stores and distributes all lost and found articles, accurately prepares necessary forms and updates the log bookWorks in the Lost Guest Booth and Security Dispatch, as needed

Minimum Education and Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalentMust be able to write detailed reports in a clear and concise manner

Competencies:  Incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position:

Excellent written and verbal communication skillsBasic knowledge of Word, Excel and OutlookAbility to respond to emergencies in an expedited manner

Training Requirements

CPR, First Aid and Blood Borne Pathogen certificationSMART alcohol awareness

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.Must be able to walk or stand for extended periods of timeAbility to respond to emergency situations in an expedited mannerPossible exposure to unknown health and safety hazards and physical altercationMust be able to work various shifts and flexible hours
