Eligible positions include the opportunity for up to a $1,500 sign-on bonus! + Patrol UPMC hospitals, buildings, and grounds to establish a uniformed security presence and deter criminal activity. + Monitor security, fire, and environmental alarms, responding promptly and assisting as needed to ensure safety. + Inspect incoming and outgoing parcels to prevent theft and ensure the security of the premises. + Resolve problems, disputes, and unusual circumstances through effective communication and conflict management. + Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, visitors, and staff, fostering a safe and secure environment. + Document incidents, suspicious activities, and hazards accurately on required reports to maintain security records. + Conduct patient escorts and stand-by details to ensure safety during high-traffic or sensitive situations. + Maintain required certifications and licensing, completing all mandatory training programs in accordance with departmental guidelines.
