Four days, 10-hour shifts to include weekends Five days, 8-hour shifts to include weekends

Health/dental/vision/life insurance and AD&D 401(k) Paid time off Paid holidays Professional development assistance Career advancement opportunitiesJob responsibilities: Patrols Center grounds, manages front desk for guest sign-in and temporary badges distribution, monitors that all staff and students wear ID badges, and ensures the safety of staff, students, and visitors. Control, surveillance, identification, monitoring, investigation, and reporting of all matters pertaining to center property, facilities, students, staff, and visitors.
Essential functions:
Ensure safety and security of staff, students, buildings, and property through patrols, inspections, and investigations. Maintain logs; write incident reports and accident documentation. Conduct searches when required; assure accountability of students; complete student and visitor check-in and check-out procedures. Conduct telephone switchboard and radio dispatch duties at main gate. Provide positive, quality customer service to students and staff. Transport students in rural or urban environments as needed. Assist with development of new safety policies and procedures. Participate in student employability programs and activities.Education and Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or GED. One year's security experience. Have the ability to occasionally lift and carry 50-70 pounds and frequently climb stairs for patrols, investigations, and emergencies.
