Security Officer
Summary CNI’s Security Officers are responsible for providing uniformed presence at the facility to maintain a safe environment, protective service work such as, protecting equipment and material, and controlling access to the Hospital by employees and visitors. Responsibilities What You'll Get To Do: Perform routine rounds throughout the grounds to deter any unruly or malicious activity. Enforce the No Smoking Policy on the grounds. Enforce the Mask Policy at the facilities as applicable. Respond to Code Brown (Security/Facility Disturbance), assist through disposition of the case. Provide written briefs/reports for security surveillance rounding and codes. Participate in code drills at the facility. Provide uniformed presence at the facility to maintain a safe environment. Respond to routine inquiries and provide information to assist patients, visitors and staff navigate the building and grounds. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications You'll Bring These Qualifications: Must maintain and possess current CLEET (Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training) certification. Must read, speak, understand, and apply printed rules, detailed orders, instructions, and training materials in English. Must be at least 21 years of age. Minimum High School Diploma or GED. Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license. Must speak, read, write, and understand the English language, apply written rules, detailed orders, instructions, and training material. Have no record or history of illegal drug use, sale, possession, or manufacture during the previous five years. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of current issues, trends, laws, regulations, and technologies Skill in satisfactorily dealing with customers. Skill in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment. Ability to use various computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), and Outlook.
