Summary You will serve as a Security Officer within NAS JACKSONVILLE SEC DET. Responsibilities You will develop, plan, train and devise means to accomplish assigned functions within a prescribed framework. You will participate with the subordinate supervisors on all matters regarding the site's physical security programs to include the formulation of policy. You will develop and maintains internal personnel plans and programs regarding equal employment opportunity, merit promotion, performance evaluations and counseling services pertaining to employee rights and benefits under OPM regulations. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized Experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Manages Physical Security programs and determines the adequacy of the programs. 2) Performs as the resident expert in matters regarding physical security and loss presentation. 3) Supervises and directs the site's physical security efforts.
