Regions Hospital has a full-time opportunity for an overnight Safety & Security Officer to join our team! This position is responsible for providing and maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors and staff of Regions Hospital. Security Officers provide a variety of services ranging from routine patrols (public areas, stairwells, conference rooms, bathrooms, waiting rooms), responds to emergent needs of the organization and its occupants (fire alarms, disaster alerts, urgent requests) and also provides response to routine requests of all departments (safety escorts, unlocks and lock ups) and providing appropriate customer service to all staff, patients and visitors. The Security Officer investigates incidents, responds to resolve matters that threaten the safety of staff, visitors and patients and completes appropriate reports and documentation within the scheduled shift.

Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent One year experience working in security, law enforcement, military or mental health Law enforcement certification/education may be substituted for experience Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications:
Post high school education in the field of law enforcement Healthcare security experience
