In this role, there is the opportunity to - + Staff fixed posts to monitor ingress and egress to secured areas. + Provide customer service to patients, families, visitors, and staff to maintain a safe environment. + Inspect incoming and outgoing parcels to prevent theft. + Respond to and resolve problems, disputes, and unusual circumstances as necessary. + Maintain required certifications and licensing. + Assist with traffic control and provide vehicle assistance. + Transport deceased individuals to the morgue and release bodies as required. + Monitor security, fire, and environmental alarms, and assist when needed. + Establish a uniformed security presence by patrolling UPMC facilities to deter criminal activity and document observations. + Operate UPMC vehicles in compliance with Pennsylvania Vehicle Code rules and regulations.
