In this role, there is the opportunity to - + Monitor ingress and egress to secured areas by staffing fixed posts. + Provide customer service to patients, families, visitors, and staff to ensure a safe environment. + Inspect incoming and outgoing parcels to prevent theft and unauthorized access. + Respond to and resolve problems, disputes, and unusual situations promptly. + Maintain required certifications and licensing to comply with industry standards. + Assist with traffic control and provide vehicle assistance as needed. + Transport deceased individuals to the morgue and release bodies per protocols. + Patrol UPMC hospitals, buildings, grounds, and associated areas to deter criminal activity, document observations, and contact appropriate law enforcement if necessary.
