Security Officer – Full Time

Rate: $19.00-$22.00/HR

At Securitas, on-site Security Officers are the foundation of our organization. Our Officers are trained to provide a high level of professionalism and specialization for their assignments, help safeguard people, property, and information.

We preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. 

Job Duties:

Patrols assigned site on foot or in vehicle; checks for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, and unauthorized persons. Responding to emergency situations where rapid and effective judgment, appropriate escalation and use of force is required. Writing detailed incident reports on unauthorized entries, suspicious activity, emergency situations, and any other observed issues.

Security Officer Requirements:

18 years of age or older.  High School Diploma or GED Required.  Standard computer / technology skills needed. Customer service background preferred.  Security experience a plus. Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner. Must be able to conduct patrols throughout shift.  Must have great attention to detail and have the ability to remain vigilant throughout shift.
