Security Officer – Full Time

Location: Denver, CO - (Various locations within the Denver Metro Area)

Rate: $19.19/HR - ($21.83/HR After 6 Months & $22.30/HR After 1 Year!!!)

Tues - Sat: 3PM-11PM Mon - Fri: 2PM - 6PM  Fri - Sun: 6PM - 6AM Tues - Thurs: 11PM - 7AM Mon / Tues: 10PM - 6:30AM & Sat / Sun: 12AM - 12PM

At Securitas, on-site Security Officers are the foundation of our organization. Our Officers are trained to provide a high level of professionalism and specialization for their assignments, help safeguard people, property, and information.

You will become certified in CPR-AED, Trauma care, X-ray imaging in threat detections, De-escalation techniques and use of force to mention just a few.  These positions require a high level of customer service and professionalism with the ability to work under pressure.  While prior security experience is highly preferred, we are willing to train the right candidates.  

What Your Day May Look Like:

Patrols assigned site on foot or in vehicle; checks for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons. Responding to emergency situations where rapid and effective judgment, appropriate escalation and use of force is required. Working directly with law enforcement, government staffing and the community. Writing detailed incident reports on unauthorized entries, suspicious activity, emergency situations, and any other observed issues.  Security screening all persons coming through the public entrance to ensure prohibited items are not entering facilities.  Monitors surveillance cameras.

Position Requirements:

18 years of age or older.  High School Diploma or GED Required.  Standard computer / technology skills needed - The ability to utilize a tablet, computer, or smartphone. Customer service background preferred.  Security experience a plus. Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner. Must be able to conduct patrols throughout shift.  Must have great attention to detail and have the ability to remain vigilant throughout shift.  Must have a reliable means of communication. Must have a reliable means of transportation. Must have the legal right to work in the United States. Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English. Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county and municipal licensing and permit requirements for Security Officers.
