Our client, in Hagerstown MD is seeking an unarmed Security Guard to join their team. The ideal candidate will have great communication, proven dependability and previous security experience which will align successfully in the organization.

 

Job Title: Security Guard

Location: Hagerstown, MD

Pay Range: $36,788 with annual step increases

 

What’s the Job?

Maintains constant vigil of several property grounds and buildings for suspicious or unauthorized persons. Attends roll call, in-service training and various training seminars as required. Must successfully complete mandatory training to include, but not limited to, baton,pepper spray, and first aid/CPR. Rounds will be made a minimum of every hour and one-half throughout shift unless otherwise occupied handling an incident. Conducts rounds in varied order. Records, logs and document and complete proper paperwork Attends court and testified, as required or if needed

 

What’s Needed?

Must have a telephone Must possess a valid Maryland drivers license and have a reliable vehicle Must submit to a background, drug test and medical exam Must be available for overtime
