The Capital Hilton is looking to welcome a full-time Security Officer to join our team! Our historic hotel is in the heart of the nation’s capital, less than a mile from McPherson Sq metro station. It offers 559 guest rooms, two restaurants, and extensive event space!
\nThe ideal candidate for this position has at least 1-2 years prior experience as a security officer (and has a valid security license), preferably in a hotel or in a hospitality focused setting!
\n\nSchedule: Full Availability (AM/PM and Overnights) and Flexibility (Weekdays, Weekends, Holidays)
\nPay Rate: $24.00 per hour

\n\nWhat will I be doing?
\nAs a Security Officer, you would be responsible for ensuring the safety of guests and team members and the security of the hotel and property in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
\n\nPatrol the interior of and the perimeter of the hotel and the property to observe and identify potential safety risks, security risks and undesirable conditions\nRespond to emergency situations including, but not limited to, safety hazards, fires, medical emergencies and threats to life and/or property\nPromote safe work practices\nInitiates preliminary investigations into incidents, as needed\nWrites reports and ensures accuracy of necessary documentation, as needed\nRespond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve guest issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner\nWhat are we looking for?
