*Emergency Department Officer (EDO)**
- Role: Remain on your feet throughout the day, ensuring safety and security in the Emergency Department.
- Pay: $20.50 per hour.
- Note: $2 raise upon completing weapons detection certification within your first 90 days.
Must have experience dealing with combative and mentally unstable individuals and be able to paysically detain someone.

We are currently hiring for second and third shifts, with mandatory availability from Monday through Sunday. While you will receive a set schedule upon hiring, your specific days off will be communicated during orientation or after training.
**Requirements:**

**Parking Information:**
- Employees who use the parking garage will be responsible for a reduced parking fee of $16.
**Job Availability:**
- We offer both full-time and part-time positions.
- Second shift runs from 3 PM to 11:30 PM, and third shift from 11 PM to 7:30 AM. Please be prepared to stay up to four hours beyond your shift in the event your replacement does not arrive.
**Health Requirements:**
- Vaccination is required for standard school vaccinations such as flu and measles. COVID-19 vaccinations are not included.
As a Hospital Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard a high profile healthcare customer. The Hospital Security Officer is responsible for the surveillance of the client’s healthcare premises and the protection of the staff, members, and visitors. A Hospital Security Professional detects and prevents any suspicious activity, observe and reports incidents, and provides customer service in a friendly and professional manner.
Responsibilities:
Observe and remain vigilant for signs of crime, disorder, hazard, and unusual activityPatrol on foot, bicycle, or via a vehicle to check for unsafe conditions, blocked entryways, security violations, mechanical problems, and unauthorized individualsOrally and physically de-escalating individuals, as neededInspect all security devices and fire control equipmentScreen members, visitors, and client employees to expedite their admittance to the facilityRespond to incidents of fire, medical emergency, bomb threat, flooding, water discharge, elevator emergency, hazardous materials, or inclement weather with calm urgencyMay also include patient escort, patient watch, provide safety escort, assist and/or transport deceased to morgueMinimum Requirements:
Prior work experience involving dealing with customers, troubleshooting, and/or managing stressful situationsBe at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed rolesPossess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experienceAs a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
