Overview Patrols an assigned area and enforces rules and regulations to safeguard life and property from accidental or malicious damage. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS - SECURITY OFFICER I High school diploma or general education degree (GED); no exceptions. No additional experience required. Must possess a valid driver's license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets the requirements for Cherokee Nation underwriting rating. Must be certified in CPR/First Aid or obtain within 90 days of hire and maintain throughout employment. Must obtain Oklahoma CLEET phase I and II certification and Unarmed Security License within 180 days of hire and maintain throughout employment. QUALIFICATIONS - SECURITY OFFICER II High school diploma or general education degree (GED); no exceptions. At least six months experience in related field Must possess a valid driver's license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets the requirements for Cherokee Nation underwriting rating. Must be certified in CPR/First Aid or obtain within 90 days of hire and maintain throughout employment. Must possess the CLEET phase I and II certification (unarmed) and maintain throughout employment. Must possess a State of Oklahoma CLEET Unarmed Security License and maintain throughout employment. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk to hear. The employee is frequently required to sit, climb or balance, and taste or smell. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to correct/adjust focus. OTHER REQUIREMENTS The employee must not be and will not be under sanction by the United States Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Inspector General (OIG) or by the General Services Administration (GSA) or listed on the OIG's Cumulative Sanction Report, or the GSA's List of Excluded Providers, or listed on the OIG's List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE) Must meet and maintain pre-employment and periodic background investigation and adjudication for child care.
