2 years WellSpan Security Officer Experience in good standing Required or 2 years A combination of experience in good standing:WellSpan Security Officer ExperienceOther Healthcare Security Officer Other Security Officer Experience Military ExperienceLaw Enforcement Experience (includes police, corrections and probation/parole)*In good standing means no disciplinary/corrective action within the last 12 months of employment RequiredLicenses:
Heartsaver CPR/AED within 90 days RequiredDriver's License Statement:
Must possess a valid driver's license in the current state of residence. Driving record must meet requirements established by WellSpan Risk Management.
Courses and Training:
Successful completion of the below training courses are required for this position. Security Officer I's requesting to advance to a Security Officer II position, must complete the required training prior to applying for a Security Officer II position. Newly hired Security Officer II's, must complete the training within 3 months of accepting the position with WellSpan. - FEMA ISP: IS-100.c - Intro to Incident Command System, I-100- FEMA ISP: IS-200.C - Basic Incident Command System for Initial Response- FEMA ISP: IS-242.c - Effective Communication within 90 days Required and Practical and Tactical Handcuffing within 90 days Required and Oleoresin Capsicum (Gel) within 90 days Required and Taser within 90 days Required and Behavioral Emergency Response Training (BERT) within 90 days RequiredKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
