\n \n Job Description

Direct daily supervision of the Property Protection staff assigned to the sites Homeowners Association.Full scope of direct supervision from the Security Operations Supervisor for Desert Resort Management in the implementation of the Property Protection program and the policies as set forth by the Property Manager and the Board of Directors.Supervises the Property Protection activities of all permanent and temporary property protection officers assigned to standing and/or patrol posts for the HOA.

\n Requirements

Duties and Responsibilities:

\n\nFollows broadly based directions\nOperates directly within the guidelines as set forth by Desert Resort Management, the Property Manager, Security Operations Supervisor and the Board of Directors.\n\n

Informs and reports through daily, weekly, and monthly scheduled communication.

\n\nTrains and develops property protection officers from a group that has been screened, tested, background checked and processed by Desert Resort Management.\nEnsures work group members receive specialized training in the proper functioning and/or execution of vehicles, radio communication, phones, computer use, gate operations, familiarity with State and Federal Law, patrol techniques, the Association’s Rules and Regulations, the writing of clear and concise Incident/Initial reports and Desert Resort Management company procedural operations.\nEnsures the shift supervisors are trained adequately to perform their duties, as assigned by Desert Resort Management. (If applicable)\nEnsures the proper operation and maintenance of equipment used by officers, including, but not limited to, vehicles, radios, surveillance cameras and computer. Also is responsible for informing the appropriate parties regarding the proper maintenance of the gate(s) and/or barrier arm(s).\nEnsures the registration of all vehicles and golf carts following procedures as established by the Homeowners Association and Desert Resort Management.\n\n

Ensures all vehicular traffic is monitored, including, but not limited to, entry requirements, parking requirements and towing requirements.

\n\n\n

Provides, on an annual basis, Performance Evaluations on employees under his/her supervision.

\n\n\n

Monitors and reviews the recordings from the various Property Protection cameras.

\n\n\n

Reads and analyzes daily reports from property protection officers and memoranda from Desert Resort Management.

\n\nExpedites IR’s of criminal activities and faxing of information to the RCSA FAX network.\n\n

Assists in developing and/or updating manuals, procedures, specifications, etc., relative to organizational requirements and needs.

\n\nPlans, directs and controls a wide variety of operational assignments by the Property Protection force, Desert Resort Management, the Property Manager, the Security Operations Supervisor, the Board of Directors and Homeowners in the execution of the Property Protection Program.\n\n

Knowledge & Skills

\n\nKnowledge of State or local governmental safety requirements.\nKnowledge of conflict resolution techniques at a proficient level.\nProfessional customer service skills.\nSelf-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player.\nInterpretation and completion of verbal and/or written instructions at a proficient level.\nTime management and time critical prioritization skills.\n\n

Education and Experience

\n\nHigh School Diploma or GED Required\n0 - 3 years of directly related or closely related experience\n\n

\n

Certifications/Licenses

\n\nGuard Card Required\nPPO#17681\n\n

\n

Working Conditions

\n\nNon-Typical office environment (frequent standing, walking, talking, etc.), both inside activities and outside activities.\nOvertime required (on-call, weekends, 24hr emergency, etc.)\nSchedule: Graveyard Shift
Wage: $21.00 to $24.00 per hour depending on experience.\n\n
