As a Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government and more.
Pay: $17.50 / Hour
Responsibilities:
Be a partner in the education of the ServiceNow Community regarding the role and profile of Security OperationsAct as an ambassador and assist in the education of the ServiceNow Community on basic safety and security principles including “drafting” and asset protection as well as the safety and security tools and resources available to themPerform alarm response functions to include perimeter doors, interior doors and high value areas and other areas as definedinspect and observe all assigned areas of responsibility for suspicious activity, safety and security hazards, criminal activity, unsafe conditions, persons in need of assistance or any other unusual condition and effectively report all such incidents immediatelyGreet, assist and interact with a variety of persons, including employees, customers, visitors, contractors, public safety officials, and the publicPlay a role in the access control of employees, visitors, and contractorsRespond, compile and report all information regarding theft, alarms, accidents and other incidents that may occurFirst responder to security, ERT, and safety incidents.Provide limited investigative tasks, both preliminary and follow-upProvide limited emergency response supportProvide break relief, as directed, to other security or reception personnelEscort employees to their vehicles, either physically or virtually (i.e. telephone, camera)Operate multi-line telephone and radio equipmentMonitor Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) and alarm panels, where applicableAssist in the completion of audit and/or assessments within assigned areas of responsibilityProvided limited access badge support which may include operating digital camera equipment, badge printer, coordination of badge activation and distribution of new and/or replacement badgesOther duties as agreed upon by the partiesProvide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activitiesRespond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving mannerConduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.Minimum Requirements:
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed rolesPossess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experienceAs a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
