Job Title: Seasonal Security Officer - Sea Colony

Job Summary: Sea Colony Resort is seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented Seasonal Security Officers to join our team for the upcoming season. As a Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and enjoyment of our guests by verifying access to the community's amenities. You will be responsible for checking badges of owners, guests, and renters as they utilize various facilities, including pools, the beach, trams, parking and other amenities. This position requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Badge Verification: Check and validate badges of owners, guests, and renters as they access resort amenities, including pools, the beach, parking, trams, and other facilities. 

Customer Service: Provide friendly and professional assistance to guests, answering questions, and directing them to the appropriate locations within the resort. 

Access Control: Ensure only authorized individuals with valid badges are granted access to amenities. 

Conflict Resolution: Handle any disputes or issues related to badge access calmly and professionally, escalating to management when necessary. 

Reporting: Report any suspicious activity, unauthorized access, or issues with badge to the appropriate supervisor or security personnel. 

Compliance: Ensure compliance with all resort policies, procedures, and safety guidelines while performing duties.

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. - Previous experience in customer service, security, or a similar role is preferred. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills. - Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations. - Attention to detail and the ability to spot discrepancies in badges or access credentials. - Basic computer skills for badge verification systems (training will be provided). - Ability to stand or sit for extended periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions. - Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as required.

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and move around for extended periods. - Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, rain, etc.). - Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds if necessary.

Work Environment: This position primarily involves working outdoors at various locations throughout the resort, including pool areas, beach entrances, and on trams. - Seasonal position with varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
