Security Officer - Systems Administrator

Allied Universal® is hiring a Security Systems Administrator. The Physical Security Systems Administrator supports the systems that are used to manage physical security. The Physical Security Systems Administrator is responsible for all aspects of planning, facilitation, management and delivery of electronic security systems and services. Through collaboration and partnership with various departments, including Information Technology, they will assist with management of systems used in access control, video surveillance, visitor and incident management, emergency communication and those used to operate the Security Operations Center. This position will manage projects related to the systems they support from conception through implementation, and day-to-day operations. This position includes close working relationships with security vendors, as well as research and development of future security technology. This position will also serve as the point of contact for training end users on functionality.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Designs, builds, installs, and configures software to support security operations workflows and resources.Responsible for the programming, configuration, and support of all or part of the following systems, to include database design changes, custom reporting, hardware configuration, troubleshooting, and management of other components as neededAccess Control, CCTV, Visitor Management, Incident Management, Emergency Communication Systems, Guard Tours and Patrol Integrity, BI Reporting Software, Key Management, Electronic Signature Program.Analyzes security workflows supported by the multiple applications and identifies areas of improvement.Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems.Communicates and collaborates with customers and vendors to ensure optimal user and reliability of the systems.Create documentation and train Security Personnel and/or end users.Provide occasional on-call support.Assure regular communication of issues or program with client.Performs reoccurring system testing and audits and provides reporting.Assist the Account Manager in systems administrative or functional tasks as directed.Performs additional duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIREDUnderstanding of physical security applications, to include Access Control, CCTV, Visitor Management, Incident Management, Emergency Communication Systems, Guard Tours and Patrol Integrity, Reporting Software, Key Management, Electronic Signature Program.Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite Applications (Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint).Working knowledge of Windows environments and Microsoft SQL databases.Familiarity with scripting languages including SQL script.Ability to collaborate with cross-functional partners (i.e., IT, facilities, human resources,) to implement security technologies.Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to prioritize/execute tasks and provide deliverables in a timely and efficient manner.Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

On occasion, must be able to work flexible schedules, including some nights and weekends

QUALIFICATIONS:

Associates degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field and/or combination of 3+ years of relevant work experience.Must be experienced or capable to become knowledgeable about applications for security, communication and safety systems.Prior experience in reporting and data analytics.Prior experience in the development of comprehensive training programs for service line staff.Superior documentation and presentation skillsEffective oral and written communication skillsKnowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writingAble to work a flexible schedule to accommodate international business hoursAble to identify critical issues quickly and accuratelyBasic understanding of network technologySelf-driven and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and with a teamAbility to prioritize and complete tasks within defined deadlinesAbility to learn new concepts quicklyCustomer service skills by aiding customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional mannerCultural awareness and sensitivity

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
