Foot Locker’s physical Security Operations Centers (SOC) technician is responsible for managing all aspects of access control and Internet Protocol (IP) Camera products and systems installed at corporate and store sites. The SOC Technician must be able to independently program, troubleshoot and perform maintenance on electronic devices, power supplies and all network connections. This is not a cyber security position. The SOC technician reports directly to the Sr. Manager of Security and interacts with team members at all levels of the organization.
The SOC technician’s primary role is for internal alarm monitoring and Genetec VMS programing for video and access control. This includes basic phone support to new system deployments and system upgrades. The candidate would ensure compliance with standard operating procedures in a timely manner, in a fast-paced environment along with support for security needs throughout out facilities.
Shifts Available:
Saturday & Sunday Overnight 4pm-12am Responsibilities Basic experience configuring/administrating technical physical security systems such as Ccure and Genetec access control, Honeywell / Resido alarm monitoring platforms and other data capturing systemsDiagnose and troubleshoot issues with CCTV systems, including camera malfunctions, connectivity problems, and recording errorsMonitor intrusion alarm system, video verification and dispatch law enforcementProvide remote software installation, configuration, system programmingReview incident-based video, download to storage, and distribute to stakeholders as neededProvide appropriate escalation and prepare clear and concise communications to security and business leadership and other partners during major incidentsPursue training as necessary to maintain industry recognized certifications Qualifications Physical Security Operations Center Experience a plus3+ years of experience working with access control & CCTV products such as Genetec, Honeywell, Exacq and CCURE Software House applicationsAlarm monitoring experience a plusCertifications in Ccure/Software House and Genetec access control systems a plusCertifications in Genetec and Exacq Video Management systems a plusProficiency in Microsoft office products, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel is requiredStrong work ethic and teamwork; "can do" attitude and desire to provide best service. Strong interpersonal and communicative SkillsMeal and break periods must be flexible and work within the needs of the SOC#LI-PF1
BenefitsSalary Range: $20 - $30 / hour. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
