About the team and role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Security Partner to join our Mergers and Acquisitions team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing relations with acquired companies, driving security roadmaps within them, and ensuring compliance within the organization. This role requires a deep technical and security background, as well as excellent program management skills.

What you will accomplish:

Develop and maintain positive relationships with acquired companies to ensure smooth integration and alignment with security policies and procedures.

Drive the development and implementation of security roadmaps for acquired companies to ensure they meet our security standards and requirements.

Collaborate with multi-functional teams, including legal, compliance, and IT, to ensure that security and compliance requirements are met throughout the acquisition process.

Conduct security assessments and audits of acquired companies to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.

Develop and implement security training programs for employees of acquired companies to ensure they are aware of security policies and standard methodologies.

Monitor and report on the progress of security initiatives within acquired companies to senior management.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging threats, and standard methodologies in security and compliance.

What you will bring:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a security-related role

Proven technical background with experience in security technologies and frameworks such as: PCI-DSS, GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST, and SOC 2.

Proven track record of designing and implementing security roadmaps and compliance programs.

Excellent program management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with partners at all levels.

Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are highly desirable.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment in California, Washington, or New York is expected in the range below.

$168,400 - $262,900

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
