**Summary** As a **Security Police Officer** at Chenega, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of **NASA** 's facilities in **Wallops Island, VA** . You will be responsible for enforcing security protocols, responding to emergencies, and providing a visible and professional security presence. Your duties will include: **Responsibilities** + **Patrol and Surveillance:** Conduct regular patrols of the facility to deter and detect suspicious activities. Monitor surveillance systems and report any security breaches. + **Access Control:** Manage access to the facility by verifying identification and ensuring only authorized personnel enter. Maintain visitor logs and issue visitor badges. + **Emergency Response:** Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies. Coordinate with emergency services as needed. + **Incident Reporting:** Document and report all security incidents, accidents, and violations. Prepare detailed and accurate reports for review by management. + **Customer Service:** Provide excellent customer service to employees, visitors, and clients.
