Summary As a Security Police Officer at Chenega, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of NASA's facilities in Greenbelt, MD. You will be responsible for enforcing security protocols, responding to emergencies, and providing a visible and professional security presence. Your duties will include: Responsibilities Patrol and Surveillance: Conduct regular patrols of the facility to deter and detect suspicious activities. Monitor surveillance systems and report any security breaches. Access Control: Manage access to the facility by verifying identification and ensuring only authorized personnel enter. Maintain visitor logs and issue visitor badges. Emergency Response: Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies. Coordinate with emergency services as needed. Incident Reporting: Document and report all security incidents, accidents, and violations. Prepare detailed and accurate reports for review by management.
