Allied Universal® is hiring a Transportation and Access Specialist. The Transportation and Access Specialist will provide a seamless experience for our truck drivers entering and exiting the yard of a high-profile customer. The successful Transportation and Access Specialist will be customer experience focused with an extreme attention to detail.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Accurately and efficiently obtain all necessary information from truck drivers to allow them to check-in/check-outInspect trailer conditions to ensure safe loading for our brewery teamAudit Bills of Lading (BOL) for exiting truck driversAdhere to company rules and regulations and make safety a priority at all timesPush “Shipper of Choice” mission forward by providing great driver check-in/check-out experiences for every driver entering or leaving the yardEfficiently communicate with drivers, warehouse supervisor, and co-workers in a professional mannerMaintain a 5S workspaceProblem solve when needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must possess a high school diploma or equivalentLicensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employmentPrior work experience in a customer service roleBe at least 18 years of age, or higher if required by the state (21 years, if armed)Excellent customer service skillsDemonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the publicMediate conflict with tact, diplomacy; good conflict resolution skillsEffective oral and written communication skillsBe able to work flexible schedules and respond to work assignments with little to no advance noticeBe able to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitorsProblem solving skillsActive listening skillsAssess and evaluate situations effectivelyIdentify critical issues quickly and accuratelyResearch, investigate, compile informationWrite informatively, clearly, and accurately TeamworkAttention to detail
