Security Professional ;Protective Intelligence Analyst

 The Security Professional 2 reports to the Security Manager and will conduct open-source monitoring to identify, assess and mitigate threats to Humana assets, and identify emerging trends that may impact business operations.

The Security Professional 2 will work cross functionally with Fusion Center Analysts and Humana Safety & Security program leads to support the Fusion Center mission of avoiding disruptions, reducing overall risk, and promoting the safety and security of Humana associates and facilities. The Security Professional 2 will work a weekday shift and may be required to flex their shift as needed to support operations.

Responsibilities

Follow all documented processes and policies set within the Fusion Center and support day-to-day operations as needed, especially during major incidentsUse intelligence collection methodologies and follow a specific set of collection requirements identified by the Executive Support, Threat Management and Fusion Center teams to monitor for threats to Humana Monitor for and stay up to date on geopolitical and emergent situations that may impact business operations, Humana associates, executives or facilitiesPrepare comprehensive written intelligence products to that identify threats and their potential impact to Humana; Verbally brief those reports internally, to stakeholders, and to executives as neededUtilize findings to provide predictive analysis that drives Fusion Center and Executive Support team operationsComplete travel and physical security assessments; think critically to further support the development of Fusion Center risk programWork on special projects or long-term initiatives as dictated by Fusion Center leadershipDevelop subject matter expertise in Humana business lines, healthcare industry and operational geographiesCollaborate with Enterprise Crisis Management team, to include participation in wider enterprise crisis eventsParticipation in proper information flow to internal & external entities as they relate to events, projects, or incidentsCompile and interpret high volumes of data; effectively analyze and relay data to diverse range of audiences throughout the enterprise

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree, suitable military OR government experience may be a substitute3+ years professional experience; security or intelligence field is preferredFlexibility to respond to on-call scenarios, off hours requests; ability to work off-hours shifts to include nights and weekendsAbility to think critically and analytically about complex problems as they arise, utilize findings to provide predictive analysis that drives Fusion Center and Executive Support team operationsAdept in using open-source collection methodologies and platformsCandidates must display high level of integrity and professional judgementDemonstrate exceptional customer service skills to provide solutions and achieve desired business outcomesStrong communication skills through written and verbal means; demonstrated ability briefing leaders on complex intelligence topicsStrong background in producing strategic intelligence products; understands impact of global safety and security events on business and clearly articulates to corporate consumersCandidates must be able to supply a short writing sample that identifies a threat to a Humana, assesses what losses may occur as a result of that threat, and recommends mitigations to minimize losses. Ability to work in rapidly changing environments, stay calm under pressure and be adaptable to unpredictable circumstances and shifting prioritiesA team player that can work within a team of diverse backgrounds and experience levelsThis role is located in Louisville, Kentucky or Washington Dc area but open to those willing to self-relocate or for the right candidate based on leadership discretion, a fully remote opportunity.

Master’s DegreeFamiliarity with security technologies, access control, CCTV, etc.Bilingual English/Spanish

Work-At-Home Requirements:
To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates must meet the following criteria:
•    At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested
•    Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership
•    Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
•    Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
•    Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


 

$65,000 - $88,600 per year


 

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
