What will you be doing?
As a Senior member of the GS&A Security Sales & Advisory team, the dedicated designated Web Services Security Sales Advisor (SSA) will develop a cybersecurity-specific sales strategy to execute against in collaboration with the Sales and GS&A broader teams. The primary goal of this new SSA headcount is to exceed the in-region revenue and profit targets. By auxiliary, this role will help grow and cement the WWT brand for cybersecurity within both the assigned accounts and the region.
The critical functions and qualifications for the Web Services SSA are:
Profile the unique needs of Hyperscaler accounts to identify opportunities to engage. This SSA will collaborate with core Sales teams supporting the accounts, national resources and OEM’s. Demonstrate a keen understanding of macro social and economic influence of Hyperscaler accounts. (i.e. “Mag 7” impact) Retain fluency in the business models and business trending of Amazon, Microsoft, Salesforce, etc. Build a go-to-market that is unique to the Hyperscaler space, mapping to the breadth of WWT’s capabilities. Understand what first party / homegrown solutions are leveraged by the customer and how any third party solution would complement to meet organizational goals. Bear a strong understanding of OT/IOT, data security, and network segmentation. Position Security solutions to large enterprise clientele ranging from supply chain to transformational services. Identify and profile target cyber opportunities based on contextual knowledge, best practices, industry-specific success stories, and WWT case studies. Network professionally to build relationships with C-level executives, Executive Directors, Managing Directors, and decision-making managers at targeted clients. Develop and maintain client and OEM relationships by way of a defined cadence of interactions with WWT’s strategic partners. Remain informed on evolving security landscape to include but not be limited to: Security Strategy, Cyber Resilience, Cyber Recovery, Segmentation, Cloud Security, Zero Trust, AI Security, Endpoint Security Architecture, SASE/SSE, Observability, Next Generation Firewall, Identity and Access Management and Compliance requirements.
