The Site Lead maintains security and safety of people and property to the Datacenter. Reporting to and working with the Regional Security Manager (RSM), local branch District Manager (DM), and Physical Security Operations Center (PSOC), the Site Supervisor identifies and escalates issues in accordance with documented policies and procedures. The Site Supervisor provides strong customer service, access control, loss prevention, incident response, observation, and reporting for all safety and security incidents and supervises Screening Officer and Screening Supervisor duties that will include the use of wand and metal detectors, service enhancement, and training. Site Supervisors are also required to perform and assist with the following role responsibilities on top of the Screening Officer and Screening Supervisor duties and responsibilities stipulated in the corresponding job descriptions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1.Read and apply the Screening Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). Perform handheld metal detector searches and walk through metal detection searches.
2.Require datacenter personnel to utilize metal detection and/or handheld metal detector for entrance to and exit of secure areas. Observe each Screening Officer for both proper technique and verbal instruction to person being screened.
3.Maintain screening stations in accordance with the Screening SOP. Perform function checks on walk through metal detector and handheld metal detector at the beginning of each shift.
4.Monitor traffic flow through screening checkpoint(s). Assist DM with scheduling Screening Officers and Screening Supervisors. Ensure all posts are properly staffed and relieve Screening Officers for breaks.
5.Respond to escalations and follow proper procedure for all matters requiring escalation. Maintain communication with PSOC, PSOC Coordinator, and RSM, as needed, for escalations and access control compliance.
6.Effective communication between Management, PSOC, Screening Supervisors, Screening Officers and other stakeholders and act as the primary point of contact/coordination for the site. Inform Screening Officers of new or updated procedures and perform practical exercise before utilization.
7.Collect and review shift activity reports and conduct shift pass down to include inspection of Screening Officers for proper uniform and equipment.
8.Ensure the proper screening technique is utilized. Conduct drills with Screening Officers on Screening SOP requirements.
9.Conduct spot remediation training when improper techniques and/or verbal instructions are observed. Document and inform DM of Screening Officers who are not meeting the Screening SOP standards.
10.Conduct supplemental training of new personnel, ensuring introduction to and understanding of screening SOP, SSPO, and manual access control procedures. Assist PSOC Coordinator and DM with the onboarding and offboarding process.
Ensure manual access control is maintained in accordance with policies and procedures set forth for D-Class sites. Inquire with persons being screened for feedback on the screening process. Required to know and follow safe work practices, and to be aware of company policies and procedures related to job safety, including safety rules and regulations. Notify supervisor upon becoming aware of unsafe working conditions. Follow all work rules/regulation as specified by data management. Evaluates and escalates potential safety issues within the facility. Identifies security shortfalls and offers suggestions from improving the security program. In coordination with the DM, submit weekly CTE reports for Site Health Forms to ensure compliance with contract hour monitoring. Support with other reporting, as necessary.

MINIMUM HIRING STANDARDS
Additional qualifications may be specified and receive preference, depending upon the nature of the position.
Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have a reliable means of communication, such as cell phone. Must have a reliable means of transportation (public or private). Must have the legal right to work in the United States. Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently. Must have a high school diploma, secondary education equivalent, or GED. Must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
A high school diploma or GED is required. Work experience in the security industry, public service (police, fire) or military is desired. Supervisory experience of 3+ years.SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Able to work during daytime, evening, weekend, and holiday hours.
