The Security Site Supervisor will supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services to an assigned customer. The Security Site Supervisor will act as a liaison between customers, Operation Managers and security officers. They will supervise site staff and provide coaching, recognition and discipline within approved empowerment range.

Directs visitors and truck drivers to various parts of grounds or buildings.

Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as theft, equipment or property damage, presence of unauthorized persons or unusual occurrences.

Answer telephone calls and maintain log books.

Guard the entrance to the facility and grounds, warehouse, or other property to control traffic to and from buildings and grounds.

Inspect inbound and outbound trailers and seals to prevent unauthorized removal of product or. Prevent unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas.

"The Security Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the security operations at a designated location. This role involves ensuring a safe and secure environment for visitors and employees, monitoring security systems, and responding to security incidents.

A security site supervisor manages a team of security personnel to ensure a safe environment and protect people and resources. Their responsibilities include:

Hiring and training

Interviewing, hiring, and training security staff, including new hires and current staff. Training topics may include workplace searches, drug and alcohol procedures, and safety and security topics.

Scheduling

Overseeing the daily workflow, schedules, and assignments of security staff.

Performance monitoring

Monitoring performance and conducting daily briefings. This may include accompanying guards on patrols to assess their performance and verify adherence to security rules.

Incident response

Responding to incidents, monitoring CCTV and security systems, and performing regular patrols to identify potential breaches.

Liaison

Liaising with the on-site manager and staff to provide advice and receive feedback.

Policies and procedures

Establishing and carrying out policies and procedures required by the organization.

Record keeping

Keeping diligent records to document all security-related instances that occur at their place of employment.

Training programs

Working with security managers to create training programs so that all security guards can have the knowledge to fulfill their responsibilities.

Continuous training

Giving continuous training for current equipment or instructing employees on how to use newly adopted technology

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

Security Experience - +1 Years

Work Outside in the ElementsAccess Control/Badge ExperienceComfortable Using Computer or TabletCustomer Service ExperienceBe at least 21 years of age with high school diploma or equivalentPossess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner
