Allied Universal Services is seeking the position of a Security Site Supervisor.

Starting Pay $24.16 / Hour

Description:The Physical Security Representative shall assist BNY Global Corporate Security (GCS) representative(s) with successful management of physical security processes for systemically important infrastructure site(s) during an assigned shift. The role will require in-depth knowledge of physical security systems, security equipment, policies and procedures, and oversight of contract guard services. Responsibilities will include:· Supervision /management of all security functions on an assigned shift at our primary production Datacenters. (24/7 guarding operations, security system functionality, emergency response, investigations etc.)· Providing subject matter expertise and staff leadership to ensure the safety and security of the facility.· Providing guidance and assisting in security matters for employees, clients, visitors and BNY property in accordance with all regulations, policies, and procedures. · Professional Interaction with visitors, vendors, internal stakeholders, clients, and auditors.· Ensuring compliance with standard operating and emergency procedures.· Coordinating the response to emergency incidents that occur at the facility. Make decisions regarding the need to dispatch, add, and/or post guards in response to specific incidents.· Contributing to the maintenance of the building fire and life safety programs, ensuring coverage and proper staff certifications.· Preparing and filing incident reports.· Interacting with relevant lines of business, including information sharing and providing security awareness training and presentations as needed.· Collaborating with Integrators, QCIC, TSG, GCS Tech Team and NYSCC staff to troubleshoot and resolve security equipment and programming issues.· Granting/removing system access as part of the onboarding/offboarding for guard staff, employees, vendors, and contractors. · Providing guidance to less experienced staff; may serves as the team leader for a team of security staff.· Providing recommendations for improvement of the facility security program. · Responsible for the quality and completion of own work. Preferred experience:· Minimum 5 years physical security background· Law enforcement or military background· Advanced knowledge of security industry access control and video monitoring systems· Mature interpersonal and customer service skills· Relevant physical security certifications or education

The Security Site Supervisor will supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services to an assigned customer. The Security Site Supervisor will act as a liaison between customers, Operation Managers and security officers. They will supervise site staff and provide coaching, recognition and discipline within approved empowerment range.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

Be at least 21 years of age with high school diploma or equivalentPossess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
