Syntelligent is seeking a Security Specialist, Industrial (Mid).
Location: Crystal City, VA
Schedule: Day/ M-F
Anticipated Salary Range: $80,000-$83,000
Responsibilities
Duties will include: SHIP AND SITE - The Industrial Security Professional shall provide Security support under this TO. This includes the management and oversight of all activities performed to support the protection of classified information developed by or entrusted to U.S industry operating under the National Industrial Security Program (NISP). Brief and coordinate SAP and collateral security requirements for USAF, USN, USMC, and international bed down sites and provide accurate data at all 35%, 65% and 95% design reviews Communicate secure facility construction and accreditation technical security standards and provide accurate data at all 35%, 65% and 95% design reviews Maintain and monitor security activities at bed down locations until facilities receive accreditation Identify security clearance and SAP access requirements at bed down locations Assist the services in defining facility and infrastructure requirement to meet F-35 bed down for all sites Coordinate and participate in the development of CONUS and OCONUS Facilities Requirements Documents (FRDs) and document results down for all sites Coordinate and participate in the development of CONUS and OCONUS Facilities Requirements Documents (FRDs) and document results Qualifications
Required Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in a security related discipline along with three (3) years of experience in a security related field OR An Associate's degree plus seven (7) years of work experience in a security related field OR Nine (9) years of work experience in a security related field Ability to constructively engage and resolve challenging situations Available to work before/after typical office hours Independent self-starter, proactive and professional assertive Effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and computer literate Proficiency with MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) Strong analytical and problem solving skills Ability to multitask Senior Level Knowledge of: ICD 705 DoD SAP Manuals UFC Constitution Criteria Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of the Supply Chain Risk Management, DoD Directives, IC Directives, and NISPOM. TS clearance - Special Access Required (SAR) Achieve Industrial Security Oversight Certification (CDSE) within one year of hire. Clearance: TS/SCI
Mental Requirements: Must be able to multi-task and rapidly change priorities with limited notice.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to sit/stand at a desk for long-periods and must be able to lift 20 pounds occasionally.
Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity and experience with the Intelligence Community (IC), and the intel cycle. Familiarity and experience with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Familiarity and experience with Government risk management frameworks (RMF) and cyber security authorization processes Familiarity and experience with Microsoft technologies (M365, Power Platform) Master’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field. Previous experience in a similar role. Familiarity and experience operating within the full software development lifecycle (SDLC). Strong track record of successfully supporting the delivery of valuable software products. Experience working with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment. Knowledge of user research methodologies and the ability to derive actionable insights. Proficiency in additional project management and collaboration tools. A passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies. Strong stakeholder management skills and experience. Cloud budgeting and forecasting experience.
