SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Security Specialist to support a Department of Defense (DoD) contract. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in several of these fields: Personnel Security (PERSEC), Physical Security (PHYSEC), Information Security (INFOSEC), Industrial Security (INDUSEC), Communications Security (COMSEC), Insider Threat (InT), Foreign Disclosure, Foreign Visits, Privacy, Antiterrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP), and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) program management.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides expertise in INFOSEC, COMSEC, PERSEC, PHYSEC, InT, and Privacy. Possess a working knowledge of the U.S. Government Security Programs Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate security programs to meet mission requirements. Review, analyze, and resolve complex security issues.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
Minimum of 6 years of experience in INFOSEC, COMSEC, PERSEC, PHYSEC, InT, and Privacy.COMSEC requires IAEC2112 Certification from the National Security Agency (NSA) and Electronic Key Material System (EKMS) course.InT specialist requires National InT Task Force (NITTF) Hub Operations Course and Center for Development of Security Excellence (CDSE) InT 312 Course, or Certified Counter InT Program Fundamentals (CCITP-F) certification.PHYSEC requires the ODNI Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) Course or equivalent.Must have a Top-Secret clearance and be SCI eligible.Additional training may be required by the Government.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.Ability to stand, walk, and supervise activities for extended periods.WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position is subject to both indoor office envrionments and outdoor environments with varying weather and temperatures.ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS:
As a condition of employment, must pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results.
