Summary You will serve as a SECURITY SPECIALIST in the SECURITY DIVISION; CORPORATE OPERATIONS of SUPERVISOR OF SHIPBUILDING BATH. Responsibilities You will serve as a member of the Security Team in the Resource Management Directorate, at SUPSHIP Bath (SSBA), and will be primarily responsible for information, personnel and industrial security at the Command. You will develop, implement and monitor internal policy, instructions, procedures and control systems for Information Security. You will coordinate the SSBA security education/awareness program for approximately 500 military, civilian and Navy contractor personnel. You will inspect and evaluate overall security programs of assigned DoD contractor facilities. You will advise the SSBA Contracts Officer on security requirements of classified contracts, subcontracts and Invitations for Bid (IFB) issued by SSBA. You will review, approve, and monitor Access Control Plans (ACPs) submitted by private contractors for the control of non-US citizens access. You will approve requests for non-US citizens to perform work inside the Controlled Industrial Area of the contractors' shipyards. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least three years of general experience, one year of which was equivalent to the NH-01 pay band (or GS-04 equivalent), in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector, necessary to perform the duties of the position to be filled. General experience must demonstrate the ability to: 1) Analyze problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize solutions; 2) Plan and organize work; and 3) Communicate effectively orally and in writing.
