Responsibilities You will provide security and administrative support to direct funded programs with unique security requirements. You will interpret sponsor’s classified technical needs and applies risk management and implementation of relevant security measures to ensure national security. You will implement security requirements related to information security, physical security, personnel security, industrial security, operations security, communications security, monitoring and inspections. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications FOR DA-03: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) providing support in the areas of personnel, industrial, physical and information security; 2) preparing, reviewing, and evaluating security documentation to ensure adequate protection is provided in accordance with program requirements; and 3) operating as an effective team member and is able to understand and apply ethical standards in relationships. FOR DA-04: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) providing support in the areas of personnel, industrial, physical and information security; 2) preparing, reviewing, and evaluating security documentation to ensure adequate protection is provided in accordance with program requirements; 3) applying knowledge and ability in security principles and communication security (COMSEC) regulations and procedures; and 4) ensuring security and administrative procedures are adhered to. Education The following education may be substituted in lieu of specialized experience: FOR DA-03: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related FOR DA-04: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.
