Summary You will serve as a Security Specialist in the Office of the Chief of Staff Program Executive Office Integrate Warfare Systems of AEGIS TECHREP. Responsibilities You will serve as the principal advisor and representative to the Chief of Staff and Executive Director in all security matters. You will develop and implement tailored security requirements and processes to protect classified and controlled unclassified information. You will develop and implement controls to protect and provide accountability on all classified documents and media in the command’s custody. You will provide oversight on security storage containers in accordance with current policy. You will provide reports of deficiencies and recommend corrective actions. You will conduct unannounced inspections during normal and after normal working hours to ensure compliance with security requirements. You will process visit requests via the Defense Information System for Security (DISS), ensuring that all visitors have the appropriate security clearance and need to know before access is granted to the facility. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level/pay band NH-03 (GS-13) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing guidance on security programs to ensure proper implementation of security measures for security programs.
