Summary This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Notice of Result letters will not be sent to applicants who respond to this flyer. Responsibilities You will provide oversight of the information and personnel security program functions. You will serve as CSM with responsibility for developing, implementing, managing, executing and oversight of all collateral command security programs. You will be responsible for all major security disciplines involved with personnel, information and physical security. You will be responsible for receipt, storage, control, dissemination, inventory, and destruction of all classified documents and publications. You will interpret governing directives, formulates and implements policies, procedures, and guidelines on assigned security programs. You will provide or ensure security education and awareness training programs for all personnel. You will review, evaluate and adjudicate reports of investigation, personnel files, and other records regarding granting, denying, revoking, suspending or restricting security clearances consistent with national security and/or suitability issues. You will conduct in-depth interviews to make initial determinations on an individual's ability to meet the criteria for access to classified information. You will obtain fingerprints from individuals and submits the PSI electronically. You will manage the Access Control System and Intrusion Detection System. You will manage the development and administration of an effective security education/training program accordance with applicable directives. You will interpret governing directives, conducts indoctrinations and debriefings for appropriate programs, and ensures familiarity with applicable security policies and procedures. You will provide guidance on classification, marking and derivative classifications. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience in security management, policy enforcement, classified document handling, training, clearance processing, verifying clearances, and reviewing and evaluating investigation reports. Education Additional Information This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled.
