Job Description Summary

The Security Supervisor under the supervision of the Operations Manager provides for the security and safety of the buildings and campus through monitoring of cameras and access control systems, inspections of fire systems, and responding to situations and circumstance based on established standard operating procedures.

This is a full-time role working 3rd shift, 11pm to 7am, Monday thru Friday. The employee may be required to help cover for co-worker PTO, holidays, weekends, and evenings when needed.

Essential Job Duties

Perform monitoring of security camera console and building access control systems. Dispatching and responding to security and safety issues according to established SOP’s.Provide general oversight and guidance to third party service provider personnel, notifying supervisor of any issues or concerns.Create security badges for client and contractor personnel as required.Carry out audits of third-party service providers’ daily activities to ensure compliance with contracted scope of services.Complete inspections of building systems to include fire panels, fire sprinkler systems, fire extinguishers, and panic alarm systems on monthly/quarterly basis for all assigned facilities.Prepare and submit activity and incident reports as required.Perform periodic inspections of Security Fleet Vehicles and schedule maintenance and repairs and audit vehicle GPS as appropriate. Responsible for inspecting the interior and exterior of the buildings and campus from a security and safety perspective. Reporting any deficiencies so corrective action can be taken.Provide additional services as requested by client (escorts, employee assistance, emergency response, etc.)Ability to use technology such as smart phones, tablets, computers, web-based applications, etc.Comply with Cushman & Wakefield Uniform Dress Code while working and maintain a neat and clean appearance while on the property at times other than working hours.Complete all required Cushman & Wakefield Safety Training as scheduled annually. (New employees shall meet the immediate training requirements as set forth at time of hiring. Failure to comply with the safety training and other training requirements set forth in Cushman & Wakefield’s Policies and Procedures may result in disciplinary action, up to and including suspension or termination of employment. Policies and Procedures may result in disciplinary action, up to and including suspension or termination of employment.Perform monthly fire extinguisher inspections at all campus buildings as needed.Perform weekly visual sprinkler valve inspections at all campus buildings as needed.Perform quarterly fire pump water flow tests at all campus buildings as needed.Performs other related duties as required or requested.

Education/Experience/Training: 

High School Diploma, GED, Trade, Technical, or vocational schoolCollege courses or Associates degree

Work Experience

Requires some experience, but less than one year

Physical Demands/Environmental Work Conditions

Must be able to travel up to 5% of the time.  Travel may vary in frequency and durationDemonstrates the ability to exert up to 45 pounds occasionally, and/or up to 25 pounds frequently
