Day to Day Responsibilities

 

Supervise a team of Corning and/ or contingent security officers with oversight of team performance, training and responsibilities Maintain a working relationship with the contract security provider and leadership on hiring needs, performance and expectations of security officer requirements Lead continuous improvement of the security team operations and security officer training programs Establish and maintain a solid partnership with site leadership, with focus on the organizational strategies of both Global Security and the facility Implement security policies and procedures and conduct employee awareness training Support investigative matters with initial fact finding and ongoing action through partnership with Security Operations, Investigations and facility leadership Attend facility project meetings, provide security guidance and coordination of technical/ vendor support with the CGS Service Delivery Team Maintain an understanding of CGS security standards, conduct ongoing security assessments and provide recommendations to mitigate risk  Ensure functionality and compliance with security technology and programs Establish and maintain partnership with local law enforcement agencies Participate on CGS and facility project teams Travel Requirements:  <15% Work Hours: Standard business hours (M-F), with flexibility to support a 24/7 operation when needed

 

 

 

 

Experiences/Education - Required

 

BS degree required, or two-year degree plus 3-5 years’ experience in a security or leadership position  Sound judgment, confidence, and the ability to make solid decisions Ability to maintain a high degree of integrity and confidentiality Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with individuals at all levels of the corporation Ability to work independently and be self-motivated Positive attitude, high initiative, and strong work ethic Ability to manage and deliver on multiple priorities Must have strong technical skills with security systems, proficiency with Microsoft 365 and the ability to navigate other platforms Experiences/Education - Desired Prior leadership experience Experience in a corporate security function ASIS CPP or PSP certification

The range for this position is  $77,902.00   -  $107,115.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
