Requirements

Education & Experience: High School Diploma or GED required. At least 2 years of supervisory experience, including management of 20+ employees and experience in scheduling. Prior experience in retail security is a plus. Skills and Competencies: Strong customer service skills with a results-driven approach. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer use. Knowledge of security operations, including patrol, inspection, and response. Ability to provide direction, motivate performance, and manage schedules effectively. Organizational skills to handle multiple assignments and adapt to various client sites. Strong interpersonal skills to engage with clients and staff across diverse backgrounds. Must pass a background check and drug screen. Possess a valid driver’s license. Willing to work weekend shifts and occasional overtime.

Essential Functions

Supervision & Leadership: Oversee Security Officers, Lead Officers, and personnel across one or more posts at client site(s), ensuring that post orders are followed, rounds are completed, and reports are filed accurately. Training & Development: Train Security Officers on assignments, review post orders, and foster a positive and effective team environment. Scheduling & Coverage: Ensure full post coverage through efficient scheduling and management of a team of 20+ individuals. Administrative Duties: Prepare, file, and submit reports, payroll, and personnel information as required. Ensure compliance with state and federal laws. Client Relations: Meet with client representatives as scheduled or as needed to ensure all security requirements are met and high-quality service is provided. Performance Management: Conduct interviews, coach team members, and make hiring and termination recommendations in compliance with company policies.

Working Conditions

Physical and Mental Demands: Maintain composure in high-pressure situations, especially when handling unauthorized individuals. Must be able to stand, sit, and walk for long periods, frequently lift up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Environmental Demands: Work in various conditions, including inclement weather, with protective gear as needed. Regular driving may be necessary.
