Summary

JOB SUMMARY:   Provides first line assistant supervisory capabilities within the Security/Courier Services Department to meet and achieve organizational goals and departmental objectives. In the absence of the Shift Captain, serves as the supervisor of the shift. Submits accurate written reports and documents findings of investigations. Greets and provides assistance to patients, visitors, and employees at entrances and exits. Provides effective leadership and guidance for Security Department personnel   REQUIREMENTS: Formal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college); requires knowledge of a specialized field. Minimum of 1 year of experience; 3+ years of experience preferred. IAHSS Supervisor Certification is preferred or the ability to obtain certification within 6 months of hire. American Heart Association CPR Certification is preferred or the ability to obtain certification within 6 months or hire. Maryland State Security Officer Certification is preferred or the ability to obtain certification within 6 months of hire. Valid Driver's License with successful clearance to operate vehicles by our Fleet Safety Manager.
