The Global Safety and Security Technology Specialist plays a critical role in supporting a highly valued client in Irvine, California. The Global Safety and Security Technology Specialist is responsible for managing and supporting our physical security software, hardware, and physical security systems, ensuring they are effectively managed and always online. The Specialist will assist the Lead Technology Administrator and work collaboratively with a global team (in person and remotely) on projects located in the U.S., Europe, and Asia.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage and maintain security platforms and networked systems to ensure optimal performance and security across a global footprintProvide end-user support and administrator services for security systems (Access Control and CCTV)Assist in the rollout of software and network upgrades at the system or device levelTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to access control systems and CCTV systemsCommission and test Physical Security systemsPerform administrative system updates and maintain system organizationAct as a co-point of escalation for technical issues from CG’s Global Security Operations CenterAssist the Lead Technology and System Administrator with software and technology programsAssist client staff and end users with badging and site access issuesRemotely access hardware and troubleshoot devicesEscalate issues and assist contracted repair engineersQUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):
Must possess one of the following;Bachelor’s degree in technology, security, or related fieldHigh school diploma with a minimum of five (5) of years of experience in the technology/CCTV systems/security industryPost hire, completion of each of the following:Access Control System training (Essentials, Admin, and System Training courses)Avigilon CCTV administrative online training sessionsMinimum of one (1) of year of experience in the managing technology, CCTV systems, preferably in the protective service industryStrong understanding of IT concepts and management of IT systemsPractical knowledge of effective enterprise-wide software managementUnderstanding of how CCTV and access control systems workAbility to learn and support systems and end usersExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong communication skillsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):
Experience working with and administrating large-scale access control systems (AMAG) and CCTV systems to a high levelExperience in effective enterprise-wide software managementExperience in maintaining and upgrading enterprise-wide softwareTroubleshooting physical security hardwareBENEFITS:
